How to Use a Trencher
When it comes to digging, a trencher can dig a trench that's 4 feet wide and up to 36 inches deep. Use these step-by-step instructions to easily dig a hole in no time with the right equipment.
Turn the fuel switch on and give it some choke. Turn the main switch on and make sure the throttle is set to low, then start it up.
Once the rammer is running, slowly give it throttle until it starts jumping.
To move it along, slowly walk the machine ahead of you. It will creep along on its own.
Caution: Wear hearing protection. Watch your toes and take frequent breaks since it gives the arms a good shaking. Only use one person to operate it. Two people are dangerous because of the way it jumps forward.
