How to Give Furniture an Aged Look Using Shoe Polish

Step 1: Sand the Surface
Sand the surface of your furniture, and wipe off with a damp cloth.
Step 2: Tint and Apply the Primer
Tint the primer with black tint and red tint or purchase ready mixed primer for red paint.
Apply the primer, then allow to dry.
Step 3: Apply the Top Coat
Paint on the topcoat, then allow to dry.
Step 4: Apply the Black Shoe Polish
Once the paint is dry, brush on black shoe polish.
Use a cloth to manipulate the polish, in order to get the look you want.
