Painting Walls of a Wine Country Retreat
Make an office much more inviting with a coat of red wine paint and a unique design.
In this Project you will:
Step 1: Prep the Room and Apply Base Coat
Apply painter's tape around ceiling, windows and trim. Lay a drop cloth across the floor.
Paint a base coat.
Step 2: Apply the Darker Glaze
While the base coat is drying, wrap twine around a lamb's wool roller in an irregular pattern.
Roll on a glaze in a slightly darker color, making sure not to overlap.
If you prefer, you can practice this painting technique on a piece of cardboard before painting on the wall.
