Mix a green wash tint with milk paint (combining the milk paint with pale green latex paint) until achieving desired color. Apply to furniture surface using brush.
Use cheesecloth or rages to wipe away enough paint to allow wood grain to show. Leave some residue in furniture detailing.
Next, add three parts glaze to one part latex paint to create a top coat glaze. Paint over the milk paint.
Wipe away excess paint to leave color in detailed areas only.
The detailing on this armoire included an ornate fan top and door panel moldings. Metallic bronze paint is used to highlight these features.
Draw a freehand design or stencil a design onto a removable foam core board.
Attach panels to armoire using hot glue gun.
