Prop the screen door up on scrap wood, and use a jigsaw to cut away any necessary boards for the appropriately-sized dog door opening.
Place the dog door on the screen door, and mark where the screws will go with a pen or pencil.
Using the appropriately-sized bit, drill pilot holes into the screen door to accommodate the dog door’s hardware.
To give the dog door a more streamlined look, spray paint it to match the screen door.
Once the paint completely dries, install the dog door in the screen door with the provided hardware. Trim off excess plastic screws with a utility knife.
Re-install the screen door.
