From Barren Wasteland to Relaxing, Woodsy Backyard Retreat

The Yard Crashers team turns this barren backyard into a tranquil outdoor retreat, complete with a dry creek, bubbling fountain, hammocks and cobblestone patios.

Before: Backyard Eyesore

This spacious backyard has been taken over by massive trees, dead grass and overgrown greenery. The space feels and looks more like a barren wasteland than a relaxing outdoor space.

After: Hello, Relaxation!

The design team turned the bare and unused backyard into the ultimate relaxation space. The custom-made arbor and bridge joins the yard’s now separate spaces while adding a visually appealing architectural element to the retreat.

After: Serene Sounds

A bubbling, fogging fountain provides a soothing soundtrack to the outdoor space, especially when lounging in the double hammocks.

After: Colorful Retreat

Adjacent to the rich, colorful lounge area, a sleek cobblestone patio and dining set provide the perfect space for entertaining guests during the warmer seasons.

After: Dry Bed

The dead grass was replaced and covered with a dry creek bed that leads out to the his-her hammocks and a cobblestone patio. The addition of the creek bed helps create a haven for maximum relaxation.

After: New Lighting

No chic outdoor space is complete without brand-new lighting. These modern light fixtures ensure that the backyard retreat is fit for entertaining during the day and night.
