Have some fun with your kids by crafting handprint snowmen Christmas ornaments together. Fill the ornament with faux snow or confetti to add color and sparkle.
Paint the inside palm and fingers of your child's hand in a nice, even coat.
Have the child cup the bottom of the ornament gently, not moving their fingers as they hold it.
Place the ornament into the egg carton right side down, allowing the handprint to fully dry.
Use permanent markers to draw snowman shapes onto the fingers of the handprint. Write your child's name and age or year along the bottom of the ornament.
Remove the top of the ornament then use a funnel to fill the ornament with the crystal flakes. Place the top back on when done.
Cut a piece of ribbon and tie it onto the top of the ornament for the loop.
These ornaments are great sentimental treasures that will liven up your Christmas tree or work as great gifts for grandparents and family friends.
