Turn your wedding ring box into a special handmade Christmas ornament, a beautiful remembrance of when you walked down the aisle and had your first married Christmas together.
Print the names and wedding date on a single straight line in a classic size 12-point font. Cut the paper into a 1” strip and cut out triangles at the ends to make it flag style.
Dab a small amount of tacky glue onto the edges of the paper strip and rub around gently with your finger so that it is nice and smooth.
Sprinkle glitter along the edges of the paper strip and then allow it to dry.
Cut a piece of ribbon approximately 18” long. Lay the center of the ribbon along the bottom of the ring box.
Flip the ring box and ribbon over. Lay the ribbon inside the ring box fold opening, and try to secure it inside using a small amount of tacky glue if needed.
Flip ring box back over and dab two small dots of tacky glue along the top edges of the ring box.
Bring the ribbon up the sides of the box and attach it to the glue. Wipe away excess glue.
Tie the ribbon together at the top to create the hanging loop. Slip a wedding photo into the box and attach the paper strip to the ring box using a little bit of the tacky glue. Allow to dry.
