How to Make Drip-Paint Pots
A little drip goes a long way on these fun planters made from simple clay pots upgraded easily with craft paint.
Can't find the perfect planter? Make your own with an old paint can and some paint.
Remove any labels from the outside of the can and paint the entire can. Let dry.
To create a plant marker from a paint stick, mark your paint stick in the center. Each stick can make two plant markers.
Use a hacksaw to cut the paint stick at the point you marked.
Paint the paint stick piece and let dry.
Write the name of the plant on the painted stick using a permanent marker.
Fill the bottom of the paint can with wine corks or small rocks for drainage.
Place your plant into the can. Let the upcycling seed take root and enjoy your new paint-can planters.
