Materials and Tools:

(2) brown paper bags
spray bottle with water
plain lampshade
gel medium

1. Start with a large piece of plain brown paper bag. Spray bag with water and crumple into a ball. Uncrumple bag and tear into random-sized pieces.

2. Using gel medium and a foam brush, glue torn pieces of paper in an overlapping pattern to the lampshade. Apply the medium to both the fronts and backs of the torn papers.

3. When the paper is dry, glue trim around the top and bottom edges of the lampshade. Embellish shade with buttons or brads.
