Before: Dark and Boring Kitchen

With walls closing in this kitchen, dark cabinets and a concrete veneer countertop, this space was in desperate need of color and renovation.

During: Demolition Phase

Host Jason Cameron and homeowners Chris and Lindsey Seta are working in the kitchen and dining space demoed for renovation.

After: Sleek Dining and Open Kitchen

An open space was created by tearing down the walls that enclosed the dining room and kitchen, leaving room for a bigger table and a huge island for extra seating and workspace.

Before: Wallpaper Worry

Squeezed between Jack and Jill doors and covered with black and white wallpaper, this master bathroom was ready for an updated look.

During: Slegdehammer to the Rescue

The wall that separated the two bathrooms in the home has been smashed away with the sledgehammer to make room for a new and modern bathroom.

After: Relaxing Retreat

This master bathroom is now sleek and modern with dark brown ceramic tiles and a cast iron sink and a mahogany vanity.

Before: Bland Kitchen

This before shot shows the cramped space, as the wall on the right separating the kitchen and solarium is on the sledgehammer demolition list.

During: Wall Gone

With the wall gone thanks to the power of the sledgehammer, nothing but studs remain to renovate this kitchen.

After: Modern Kitchen

A beautiful new breakfast bar stands where the homeowners' old solarium wall stood before they took a sledgehammer to it. The renovated kitchen is fresh and modern.

Before: Drab Guest Bedroom

Homeowners Brad and Jess Groene's spare room was nothing to talk about before the sledgehammer got to it.

During: Busting Walls

Homeowner Brad took over the sledgehammer to smash in the walls.

During: No Time for Breaks

Host Jason Cameron with homeowners Brad and Jess Groene take a break from the demolition to pose for a picture with their sledgehammers.

After: Girly Bedroom

The drab room is transformed into a girly pink bedroom with a bunk bed for the homeowners' two daughters.

Before: Attic

The unused attic space will soon be transformed by Sledgehammer host Jason Cameron.

During: Install Flooring

Host Jason Cameron and homeowner Brad Groene put down flooring in the attic. They remove old insulation, put adhesive on attic joists, install tongue and groove plywood flooring and use nail guns to secure plywood into place.

After: Peaceful Playroom

A bedroom and play area is created from the unfinished attic space.

Before: Too Formal Dining Room

The dining room was too formal for the Faison family and it was closed off from the kitchen before the sledgehammer.

After: Functional Space

The homeowners' formal dining room is transformed into a modern and spacious kitchen with new appliances and seating at the island.

Before: Single Bathroom for Six

The only sink in the single bathroom that was shared by the entire Shinkle family of six.

After: Kids Bathroom

Host Jason Cameron turned part of the single bathroom into a kids' space complete with a trough sink, a deep tub and mom's favorite, a laundry chute.

After: Master Bath

The rest of the space is turned into a private bathroom for mom and dad

Before: Dull Dining

The dining space was enclosed by cabinets and a bulky island and lacked style and space around the table for a growing family.

After: Refreshed Space

The dining area now features a modern style and extra room around the table thanks to a leaf made for the old family table.
