Step 1: Clean and Prepare the Lamps
Take the lamps outside, take them apart, dust them.
Step 2: Paint the Lamps
Spray paint the lamps with aluminum silver spray paint.
When the lamps are rehung, paint the hanging cords with Terra Mauve to help them blend with the walls (Image 2).
Step 3: View the Transformation
The closet has now become an entertainment center with a separate cabinet to hold Garner's art supplies. The formerly white walls are rich and warm, providing the perfect background to show off select pieces of his artwork. This once glaringly bright living room is now warm and cozy (Image 2) -- done in just two days and costing just $185 for paint.
