kitchen tile backsplash

the instructions were helpful, but not complete enough as seems to be the general consensus of other people who left comments. Does anyone actually answer their questions? because that would be helpful to actually see those answers. I would love to be able to contact the show and get some much needed advice on a problem we have with our 5 year do-it ourselves kitchen that is almost done.

finding a product used on a show

Most of the thing are helpful.
I find that I can't find the products shown on the shows.
On $/13/2010 the show ripped out a bad kitchen area, then remodleled it. They used a PINE Wood Tile. When we do our kitchen over, my wife would like to use the same thing for our backsplash.

It is fustrating to not find the product or even a listing for the show.

How about the electrical?

Why is it whenever the very popular backsplash project is described, there is no mention of the electrical outlet adjustment for the additional depth added by the tiles and mortar?

What mounting board should I use?

What type of mounting board should I use? For the floors I used "DuraRock". Does it matter for mounting the backsplash tiles what type of board I use? We are doing a Kitchen remodel job.

Where's the rest of the picture?

The information about putting up a backsplash seemed to quit to soon. How do you do the edges? What about grout? What's the best kind to use?

Add tile back splash

You did not show how to finish the edges - the extra wall space where the cabinets end and you have about one foot of wall left. How do you finish that space it make it look right?
