        Highlights:

Step 1: Watch an Overview Video

Step 2: Choose Solid Wood or Engineered Flooring

Choose from either solid wood or engineered hardwood flooring, both are available in a variety of species and sizes. Solid wood flooring grades range from "select" to "rustic". They can be installed at or above grade and can be sanded and refinished many times.

Step 3: Use Engineered over Concrete

If installing wood flooring below grade or over concrete, choose an engineered hardwood. Its cross-ply construction makes it less likely to be affected by changes in humidity.
