Run a bead of caulk along the top of the crack. Run a fingertip down the bead, pushing the caulk deep into the crack (Image 1).
Smooth the surface finish with a damp cloth (Image 2).
Once the crack is filled and the caulk is dry, paint the patch to match the wall color.
