Step 1: Apply the Lime Paint and Pigment

Tape off the walls around the brick in preparation for the paint treatment.

Use lime paint with a lighter Titan Buff pigment powder to lighten the color of the bricks. Apply the paint to the brick, rub the paint pigment directly into the wet paint.

Step 2: Apply the Paint Treatment

The paint is brushed over the surface of the brick to create a natural, varied look.

After the lime paint is on the brick, dip a brush in the pigment and scrub the paint into the brick.

Step 3: Apply the Varnish

A final coat of varnish, applied when the paint is dry to the touch, will seal and protect the painted surface.

Step 4: Add New Draperies to the Room

The room is put back together and new draperies are hung.

The old room was cold and dated, but the new colors and Asian details give the room a fun, hip flair. And all this was accomplished for just $180 for paint!
