Step 1: Prepare for the New Cabinets
First, you'll need to lay some drop cloths down in order to protect the new flooring.
Disconnect the plumbing and then remove the old sink.
To remove the large counters around the sink in half, use a reciprocating saw, being careful not to cut into the face frame.
Find the weak spots and pry out the countertops, being careful of older nails poking through in older counters.
Step 2: Remove a Section of the Base Cabinet
Remove a section of the base cabinets by carefully cutting the rail along the top and bottom stile using a Japanese pull saw.
Use a reciprocating saw to cut through the back frame.
Pry off the side of the cabinet.
