I think Josh Temple is the best of the experts and his sense of humor and knowledge of home improvements is fabulous. Loved this kitchen makeover and plan to try it at home.

Two-tone cabinets

I recently did this project at home and used the following paint brands/colors:

Behr Paint and Primer in One: Carmine Red and Straw Basket (for cabinets
Ralph Lauren Metallic in Champagne Toast (for shadow box trim
Minwax Gel Stain in Red Elm (instead of the glazing

I was very happy with the results.

kitchen HELP!!!

My husband and & just redid our kitchen ourselves this past summer, and we have yet to find the right backsplash. Watching yesterdays show I finally found what I want. The backslpash design you did on that kitchen you repainted the cabinet doors on. Could you please e-mail me the the of tiles and the size? It would work perfectly.

Our family didn’t stick around to see the finished project. It doesn’t matter how talented “she thinks she is” Shannon was *****y to the homeowners. We’ll never watch another program when she’s involved.

Standard builders cabinets

What do you do when your cabinets are builder's standard and are not solid wood on the ends but some kind of veneer paper? I have same on the island. This is the exact finish I was looking for but don't want to start it and find I have problems with the end cabinets and sides and back of island.
