How to Make a Sawhorse

Sawhorses are among the most versatile pieces of equipment. The basic sawhorse can be found at any hardware store, but here's an easy and inexpensive way to make them.

Step 1: Attach the Lumber

Attach the lumber with plastic braces, metal braces or hinges. Use hinges if you want to be able to fold your sawhorse.

Step 2: Secure the Braces

Secure the braces or hinges with center bolts and wing nuts.
