An artwork project that grows with the child is the perfect finishing touch for a child's bedroom.
Measure the size of the artwork to be framed. Draw a square on the wall 1 1/2 " larger than the outside measurements of the artwork, using a pencil and level.
Draw a second square 2" larger than the first square.
Tape off the squares, centered between two of the windows, to make frames.
Seal the tape edges with varnish to keep paint from leaking under the tape.
Paint the frames Maidenhair Fern and Lavender Lipstick. When the frames have dried, attach artwork to the frames with double-stick tape.
The room is put back together. The girl's bedroom has a much more stylish look but still has very playful elements that appeal to a young girl, all achieved for just $30 in paint.
