Step 1: Tape off Floorboards and Trim
Cover the floor with rosin paper.
Tape off the floorboards and trim work with painter's tape.
Step 2: Paint Walls
Paint the walls with Glenwood Brown 1141. A second coat may be needed to cover walls that have been painted with a darker color or have several stains.
Allow to dry completely.
Step 3: Prep the Ceiling and Apply Eggplant Color
Seal ceiling trim tape with varnish.
Using large square brushes paint a layer of 2117-30 Shadow across the ceiling using criss-cross motion.
Step 4: Apply Metallic Gold Glaze Mix
Using a new sponge scrub on Chromotone Quick Dry Latex Metallic in Roman Gold mixed with glaze. Scrub in a small circular motion to create pattern.
