Apply Silicone Adhesive
Apply a generous amount of silicone along the pressure-treated lumber that should border your door jamb.
Place Sliding Doors
Lift sliding doors and lay into place.
Add Shims
Once the door is in place, add shims to make sure it's level.
Secure Doors
After you ensure that the door is plumb, secure it to the lumber with 2 1/2-inch wood screws. Have a partner hold the door tightly in place while securing the screws.
Cut Shims
Use a razor blade to cut the protruding shims from the door frame.
Install Hardware
Once the door is securely in place, install the hardware.
