Step 1: Cut the Boards

Measure 70" up from the floor for the shelves. Scribe a line at the measurement to indicate the placement of a support cleat, and cut a 1 x 4 to length on the miter saw.

Step 3: Place the Shelves

Measure the inside of each stall to obtain the width of each shelf. Cut a standard 1 x 12 to size with a circular saw, and slide the shelves into place. Anchor the shelves to the cleats to secure it.

Step 4: Install the Brackets

To determine the location of the clothing rod, measure down from the shelf and mark the position of the rod brackets. Install the brackets with a single screw on each.

Measure between the cleats for the length of the rod, and use a reciprocating saw to cut the rod to the appropriate length. Drop the rod into place to complete the stalls.
