If mounting a recessed medicine cabinet without an existing frame, make sure to install a solid frame for the cabinet – including a header and footer – to make sure the wall is not compromised. Anchor the frame securely to the wall studs.
Remove the medicine cabinet doors and set aside before beginning installation.
Set one medicine cabinet in the prepared opening (Image 1) and attach with the screws provided by the manufacturer (Image 2). Drill pilot holes for the screws if needed. Install the other cabinet in the same manner.
Re-attach the cabinet doors.
