How to Install Pendant Lights
Pendant lights come in a number of styles and are a great way to add light to a room. Use these step-by-step instructions and easily install pendant lights in your house.

Step 1: Cut the Sleeve and Rod
Determine what length the lights should be. They come extra long from the manufacturer so you can cut them to the size you want.
After disassembling the light and decorative sleeve, mark and cut both the decorative sleeve and the rod to length with a hacksaw.
