How to Install a Door Sweep

Step 1: Mark and Pre-Drill Holes
Some sweeps are installed on the inside and others on the outside of the door; check the instructions for your particular type.
Mark and pre-drill your holes to receive the screws for the door sweep.
Step 2: Fit the Sweep Snugly Against the Threshold
Attach the sweep to the door so that the bottom of the sweep seals snugly to the door's threshold.
