Locate and identify the water and drain lines.

Shut off the water to the house at the main using a curb key, and drain the lines by opening a high and low faucet.
Step 3: Turn Off the Water Heater
Turn the water heater off at the breaker; turn to the 'pilot' position if it's gas.
Step 4: Prep the Dishwasher
Prep the dishwasher by applying Teflon tape around the threads of the dishwasher 90.
Step 5: Insert the Dishwasher
Insert the dishwasher 90 and snug it up.
