Step 1: Drill Holes and Dry Fit the Cooktop
Drill two access holes, one for the electric wiring and one for the gas.
Dry fit the cooktop and modify the cabinet back if needed with a reciprocating saw.
Step 2: Test Fit and Install the Cooktop
Use wooden blocks to test fit so that your fingers don't get caught under the lip. Once it is in place, remove the blocks.
