Prepare the adhesive and use a filling knife to apply a good covering of adhesive across the back of the rose.
Position the rose on the ceiling, inside the edge guide line and with holes in line with the joists. Apply light, even pressure.
Attach wood screws through the holes in the rose and into the joists. Do not over-tighten them, or the rose may crack.
Use adhesive or filler to fill the attachment holes. Fill around the edge of the rose, and smooth with a damp sponge. Once filler is dried, sand the filling holes and around the edge of the rose if necessary to achieve a smooth, even finish.
