Step 1: Install the Cabinet

Set the cabinet in place (Image 1) and add shims so it is square with the wall (Image 2). Pre-drill through the nailing block and secure it to the wall with screws (Image 3).

Score the shims with a utility knife and snap them off (Image 4).

Step 2: Cut and Secure the Cement Board

Cut the cement board to size with a circular saw (Image 1). Apply adhesive to the back of the cement board and attach it to the wall. Secure the boards with cement board screws (Image 2).

Step 3: Spread Thinset and Place the Tiles

Measure and mark the wall at the height of the tile (Image 1) and snap a chalk line to connect the marks.

Spread thinset with a V-notched trowel and set the sheets of tiles in place (Image 2). For full rows of tile the mesh can be cut with a utility knife. Use a wet saw to cut the tiles.

Step 4: Add a Hanging Pot Rack

Locate the studs behind the plaster and lath by tapping a nail into the wall.

Hold the shelf up to determine the desired height. Check for level and mark the location for the screws. Pre-drill the holes and attach the rack with provided the screws.
