Set the cabinet in place (Image 1) and add shims so it is square with the wall (Image 2). Pre-drill through the nailing block and secure it to the wall with screws (Image 3).
Score the shims with a utility knife and snap them off (Image 4).
Cut the cement board to size with a circular saw (Image 1). Apply adhesive to the back of the cement board and attach it to the wall. Secure the boards with cement board screws (Image 2).
Measure and mark the wall at the height of the tile (Image 1) and snap a chalk line to connect the marks.
Spread thinset with a V-notched trowel and set the sheets of tiles in place (Image 2). For full rows of tile the mesh can be cut with a utility knife. Use a wet saw to cut the tiles.
