        Highlights:

        Step 1: Apply the Thinset

When using natural stone, open up several boxes and mix up tiles from the different boxes for a naturally varied look. Individual boxes might contain similar color and shade of stone. Apply thinset to the backs of the stones using a square-notched trowel.

        Step 2: Place the Stones

Set the stones in place. For custom fitting individual stone, cut the stones using a wet saw.
