Give a Dresser a Classic French Look with Paint

Step 1: Sand the Dresser
Sand, brush the dresser, wipe off the dust and remove the knobs.
Step 2: Apply Tinted Primer
Brush and roll on tinted primer in Benjamin Moore's HC-164 Puritan Gray. Let dry.
Step 3: Mix and Apply the Glaze
Sponge 90 percent of the top surface with Warm Sienna and a touch of glaze.
Paint Color: 1203 Warm Sienna by Benjamin Moore
Step 4: Paint Veins in the Dresser
Paint in veins with small artist brushes using Puritan Gray, white primer and a touch of Onyx.
Step 5: Varnish the Dresser with Burnt Umber
After details have dried, brush entire piece with flat varnish tinted with burnt umber.
