How to Frame a Mirror in the Bathroom

DIY host Paul Wilson frames a bathroom mirror for a whole new look.
        • Time

          Day

        • Price Range

          $100 - $250

        • Difficulty

          Easy to Moderate

        In this Project you will:

Step 1: Decide Where to Place the Mirror

Pick out a mirror and measure the sides. Lightly draw the outline of the mirror on the wall where the mirror will be placed permanently.

        Step 2: Attach the Ledger

Attach wooden ledger boards on all four sides of the outline to help hold the tiles in place.

Step 3: Cut the Tiles and Set the Adhesive

Miter cut the tiles, making sure not to rush.

Back butter the tile pieces with the adhesive and set them in place. Once the tile has set for 24 hours, you can remove the ledger board.

        Step 4: Place the Mirror

Adhere the mirror with mirror adhesive. The tile that's used to frame the mirror doesn't need to be grouted.
