        How to Decorate Flower Pots

        Learn how to paint some colorful flowerpots, using bold colors for a greater visual impact but making sure the color schemes do not clash with each other.

        Highlights:

        Step 1: Paint the Pots

        Use painting tape to separate different sections of the pots for different colors. Apply at least two coats of paint for each color, using exterior acrylic paint so that the pots will be easier to clean.

        Step 2: Add the Plants

        After the paint has dried, fill the pots with colorful flowers. For larger pots, plant a couple smaller plants in the same pot.
