Prep the room by taping windows, doors and moldings with painter's tape.
Place the drop cloth on the floor.
Tape the adjoining wall with masking paper.
Apply a base coat on walls and allow to dry.
Apply a darker color top coat up to the point where you would like the sunburst effect to start. Work in sections, painting about four feet at a time.
Paint colors used for base coat: Kelly Moore Brandy Cream (BM-1B1030)
Add three parts glaze to one part of the darker latex paint color to create a top coat glaze.
Apply top coat glaze about 6" above the section.
Paint color used for top coat: Kelly Moore: Spice Pumpkin (BM-4B) Classic
Stipple the glaze with the stippling brush while paint is still wet, moving from the bottom of the glaze toward the top of the ceiling.
