It is a great problem of every house, so this one may be the great solution. Thank you very much for sharing such kind of information. Grab a piece of paper and calculate the amounts!

The project is very helpful as it lays out the basic idea to build YOUR OWN table. Obviously, this implies that first thing to do is to determine the height, lenght and width that you'd like, and from there all you need to do is calculate the amounts which anyone with minimum math skills can achieve (ie 4 legs of 3 pieces = two 8" 4x4s and so on.

Mods I'll incorporate for this table

Instead of bolting the saw to the table, I'll mount a shelf below the cutout at a height that will place the cutting surface of the cut-off saw even with the top of the table. That will allow proper support for long pieces when you cut.
Also, I'll attach stringers under the top on both sides so I can drop the fitted plywood on them when not using the saw. Include a hole in the drop-in piece so it can be easily removed for placing the saw on the lower shelf.

one thing though

How do the brackets hold the pop-up table UP, but then it folds DOWN. Then, it folds down to keep the saw out of the way, but then you can't use that space because there's no table top there.
