How to Build a Reception Desk

Step 1: Make the Frame
Build the L-shaped desk with 2x4s using glue and deck screws.
Cover it in oak plywood using a nail gun.
Step 2: Attach Recessed Panels
Attach custom oak stiles and rails to the front of the desk to create recessed panels.
Step 3: Add Trim and Granite
To finish the look, add trim pieces to the inside of the recessed panels using glue and a nail gun.
Top both levels of the desk with a custom-cut piece of granite.
