Step 1: Build a Frame
Measure the area and build a frame with 2x4s on the ground from your measurements, setting the studs at 16" on center and securing with a framing gun.
Step 2: Install and Secure the Frame
Lift the frame into place, check level and plumb.
Secure the frame to the ceiling rafters and floor joists with a framing gun.
Step 3: Drywall the Closet
Drywall the closet, then mud, tape and paint.
Step 4: Install Closet Bars
Install the closet bars, along with any shelves and drawers you may want according to your closet design. Finish with closet doors.
