How to Build a Butcher Block Table

Step 1: Sand and Paint the Table
Sand down the table with a palm sander to remove old paint and stain. Remove dust with a clean damp cloth.
Apply one coat of primer and let dry. Paint the entire table desired color.
Step 2: Attach the Butcher Block
Place vinyl bumpers on back of butcher-block to prevent sliding.
Place the butcher block on top of the table bumper side down.
