        Highlights:

Step 1: Create a Faux Brick Wall

Painting straight on the oriented strandboard (OSB) walls gave the room a deconstructed effect, but to take the theme even further, cut sheets of faux brick sheeting (Image 1) along the "mortar" lines and attach them to the walls (Image 2). The final effect resembles a partially exposed brick wall.

        Step 2: Incorporate Metal Decor

Corrugated metal sheets aren't the only metal in this décor. Chain-link fencing and gates can become an eye-catching stair rail (Image 1) and a set of cool frames for an old field hockey stick and a broken skateboard (Image 2).

Step 3: Add Some Custom Art

Cut out initials from a piece of plywood for a custom art piece (Image 1). After a few coats of spray paint, mount the piece over a sheet of metal to create a graffiti-inspired focal point for one wall (Image 2).
