    Easy to Moderate

Step 1: Create the Lattice Pattern

Apply an eggshell finish base coat to the closet door and let dry.

Use painter's tape to create a lattice pattern to the closet doors. Start by making a big 'X' on the doors as a guide.

Next, use a thicker piece of tape against the line of the 'X' to create a spacer. Continue the pattern.

Step 2: Paint Over the Tape

Mix the tints of paint with the eggshell base coat to create the desired color. If you prefer, have the tints mixed when the paint is purchased.

Next with the 6 1/2" seemless foam roller, paint over the tape with the latex tinted paint.

Remove the tape slowly while the paint is still wet so the dried paint will not peel off the wall when removing the tape.

Step 3: Paint the Door Frame

Paint the door frame with silver paint.
