        In this Project you will:

Step 1: Create a Support for the Fireplace

All of the necessary parts for the fireplace come complete in a kit. The fireplace we selected is made from a special blend of luminite and shale to create a lightweight and durable structure. The whole thing can be assembled in a few hours without need for epoxy or mortar. Each piece is numbered and you simply follow the directions. To start, add and compact 6 inches of crusher run gravel to create solid support under the base and allow for plenty of drainage.

        Step 2: Complete the Assembly

Set the four corners of the base starting with the right front piece. Align the base and level using shims. Simply slide the pieces together following numbered assembly instructions.
