Step 1: Remove the Cabinet, and Detach the Drain
Remove the surrounding cabinet around the sink to gain better access to the pipes. Detach the drain.
Step 2: Prepare and Fasten the Vent
Prepare the vent by first wrapping the threaded end of the vent with plumbing Teflon tape. Wrap the edge three times in the direction that the vent will be threaded. Once it's wrapped, fasten it to the sink drainage pipe.
Step 3: Finish Installation
Reattach the drain and plunger. Replace the cabinet and test the sink.
