Step 1: Create a Magnetic door

Measure magnetic board area, then mask the area with painter's tape.

Mix paint before using and stir occasionally to keep the iron in the paint from settling.

Use brush to apply paint, then go over coat of paint using a feathering technique, brushing from side-to-side, then top-to-bottom. Apply at least two coats.

Step 2: Create a Chalkboard Door

Measure chalkboard area, then mask the area with painter's tape.

Apply paint with medium-sized brush and use the same feathering technique as used for the magnetic door.
