drhaynes,can you e-mail the pdf file to me? the project looks nice but do need better details for it ,the length of cuts would make it easier to build been guessing on the 19 degree cut but hoe long to attach the legs is a pain thanks

DIY failed us with this project!

I agree with the comments.
We need details to build this.
DIY only gives a concept of the project without details.
My wife wanted this for the yard so I had to design it myself using Auto-Cad for a cut sheet.
Woodworkers need details!!!
I have a set of drawings if anyone wants it.
I can email a PDF file to you.

Better Plans Available

I know everyone seems to be disappointed with the plans provided here - I understand, I am too. I found a free set of plans for this exact project (at least it looks exact so far by doing a simple search. I won't post the link just in case it infringes on the Terms of Use, but there are better instructions out there.

tiered plant stand needs better detailed plans

I sure would like to make a couple of these for gifts, but the plans are terrible. They need to be more specific. A drawing with measurements would also be helpful.

Details!!

Suppy list for materials does not match with what is being built! Also, photographs to accompany each shelf would be greatly helpful! Before you list materials, make sure you know what you are building and list supplies appropriately!

More of the same

Details, details, DETAILS. Even what is documented is wrong. Proofread what you do write, but do give us details. It is a nice little stand. At this point I hope that my wife doesn't see the commercial because she will want one and I will have to disappoint her because it would become to expensive to be experimental in figuring it all out in order to get it right.

TIERED PLANT STAND

The plans are not very detailed. Alot of measurement and angles ae missing. I have built many projects, but I have hand the plans to do so.
I agree with the other viewers. Why do you not have a show that deals with woodworking and the building of wood projects. Something that the real person who is watching your show could get something form it. Not al of this yard crsheres and other show like it. I use to watch your show all of the time. But now I am FED UP.

Who Is DIY Network's Target Audience for These Projects???????????????

I've regularly seen the show, although rarely watch entire episodes primarily because they cater to people who like to see others do projects (i.e., they hire people to do this stuff. Too much time spent on fun and hijinx and not enough detail for my taste. And this is my first visit to the website because I saw the cool tiered plant stand. Well, the instructions (let alone the materials list is consistent with the topical nature of their TV shows - mostly presentation with little detail about how you actually do the stuff. I'm very handy and have built decks and other major projects. But without some attention to detail, I won't be coming back to DIY Network's website for details about how to do anything. I guess I'll just stick to woodworking magazines and the guy down the block. Thanks but no thanks. Recommendation: have a seasoned carpenter or old woodworking afficionado write up your project instructions DIY Network (instead of some production assistant.
