Materials and Tools:
4x8 sheet of 3/4-inch MDF plywood
circular saw
belt sander
paint or stain
varnish
(2) 2-inch handles
power drill
screws
A finished piece of mdf plywood across a front-loading washer and dryer makes a handy laundry table.
Push together washer and dryer and measure combined top surfaces.
With circular saw, cut plywood to fit.
Sand edges and top and bottom surfaces until very smooth.
Paint or stain board and let dry.
Varnish board and let dry.
Place table across washer and dryer.
If one appliance is slightly lower than the other, attach shims to bottom of table to level surface.
Screw handles on ends of table for easy moving.
