Step 1: Watch an Overview Video

Step 2: Gather Your Materials and Tools

        Materials and Tools:

4x8 sheet of 3/4-inch MDF plywood
        circular saw
        belt sander
        paint or stain
        varnish
        (2) 2-inch handles
        power drill
        screws

Step 3: Measure and Cut the MDF Plywood

A finished piece of mdf plywood across a front-loading washer and dryer makes a handy laundry table.

Push together washer and dryer and measure combined top surfaces.

With circular saw, cut plywood to fit.

Step 4: Sand and Finish the Board

Sand edges and top and bottom surfaces until very smooth.

Paint or stain board and let dry.

        Varnish board and let dry.

Step 5: Position the Board and Add handles

Place table across washer and dryer.

If one appliance is slightly lower than the other, attach shims to bottom of table to level surface.

Screw handles on ends of table for easy moving.
