How to Create Aged Silver Doors
Learn how our DIY Network experts apply a silver paint technique to French doors to create an aged appearance.
In this Project you will:
Step 1: Paint the Doors
Paint the doors with silver metallic paint.
Step 2: Splatter Tinted Glaze on the Doors
Mix a dark glaze using four cups of latex paint glazing liquid, then add a couple of drops of tint.
Use a toothbrush to spatter a darker glaze over the silver. You can try this on a piece of cardboard first to practice this technique.
