An old bland kitchen is transformed into a vibrant space reflecting the homeowner's Mexican heritage. Linoleum flooring is replaced with Saltillo tiles; wood-paneled walls are covered with colorful stucco; outdated cabinetry is swapped with rustic knotty alder and topped with sleek countertops, and a worn kitchen table is exchanged for a handcrafted metal one. To top off the new appliances, a range hood is covered with rustic wood.
