          • Master Bedroom Remodel, While redoing the master bathroom, I decided to remodel the master bedroom as well. The closet was relocated to the other side of the room across from the bed and french doors added to connect the bathroom. I don't have curtains yet. lol, Bedrooms Design

          • Master Bathroom remodel, I had an incredibly small bathroom originally, shaped like the letter L and I had the wall taken out and french doors added. The slate floor and walk in shower with marble tile tops were added and I put up the small slate shelving myself with the extra tiles. I also built the mirror myself with a slight slant forward to see better instead of the traditional flat against the wall version of the vanity. The sink and closet doors are from ikea, but the shelving and frame I built myself with scrap wood from an earlier project in the kitchen. Overall I'm really pleased with the outcome., Bathrooms Design

          • The new color scheme, I have 4 rooms that are adjacent to each other that I need to create color flow in. This is room #4. It's been difficult. Part due to the fact that I like so many colors.
I decided to narrow down my "likes" to a more neutral palette. The art piece is where I'll pull colors from for the other rooms. Didn't realize it was that easy but it was a long road., Living Rooms Design

          • Simply Chic Guest Bedroom, This is the guest bedroom in our first home (condo). I love all things French and Parisian and always try to add a touch of that aesthetic. This room was definitely done on a budget, as we are only young professionals. The c. 1950s furniture was my grandmother's, which I painted black. Other items were found on Craigslist or TJ Maxx/Marshalls. I would love to hang a chandelier, but we unfortunately have nice ceiling fans throughout the house. Also, we do not plan on staying here for more than another year, therefore we did not want to paint any walls. I look forward to your feedback!, Bedrooms Design

          • Help!!, I am beyond frustrated with my new TV room. I bought the new white IKEA couch, and liked it with the current curtains and pillows. Then I saw some circle curtains at Target and fell in love with them. I like both. Honestly, I do. But I can't have both. Which pillow/curtain combo do you like? , Living Rooms Design

          • Warming up a tall living room, I have 19-foot ceilings so make the space seem warm has been a struggle. The walls are glazed. The ceiling has a painted sky on it, which I like, but I would like to put crown moulding around it. Any and all suggestions are welcome., Living Rooms Design

          • Honey Maple Kitchen with Caesarstone (Engineered Quartz), I remodeled a dismally dreary depressing condo kitchen from the 80s which had upgraded tile floors, and the dreaded white ceramic tile counters. The cabinets were a horrid laminate without hardware and flourescent lighting was awful and dim. I got depressed every time I entered the kitchen. Caesarstone counters and backsplash with custom maple cabinets, recessed lighting, opening to living room, and new appliances now greet me along with a laminate wood look floor. All on a single mom's budget (with monopoly money from re-fi)., Kitchens Design
