Add apple tree spindles for a fun addition to any children's tree house or fort. Just trim the ends of the spindles with a tenon cutter, then drill holes to fit the spindle ends into the banister top and bottom using a forstner bit. Put the spindles in place and attach the banisters to the structure. Though the new play area might not be perched on a branch, it’s still a tree fort.
